was probably the first goal for every family bookings Lake Buena Vista home to spend as much time and energy and money as it takes to get the most out of Disney World theme parks.
and you should be a pretty sad state to find all the joys of Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and all the other enticements that Walt successors, provided that the unimpressive. Even if you dwell on the scary rides, sideshows and entertainment in general the whole entertainment, water parks Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach plus the turn of Downtown Disney and Pleasure Island will consume a big chunk of your vacation time, if permitted. If this is what you get the most out of fun, it's big and go straight ahead.
However, Lake Buena Vista Vacation need not be limited to direct Walt Disney World area. There are plenty of other places to visit and get enjoyment out of a relatively short period of time driving, so why not try a few?
First of all, let's put to one side of Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Sea World - on their way to be in the same way as Disney World, the vast expanses filled with a mixture of rides and exhibits and shows, you've probably heard of them, but you do not need more details from me. Just bear in mind that these are all great places to try as much as you like at least some of the basic theme are built around (for example, do not go to Sea World, if you are allergic or if you do not fully love the sea-oriented shows!).
Rather than look at those attractions that could complement its Lake Buena Vista Vacation providing a contrast - here is just to think about:
Tarpon Springs, a small town on the Gulf Coast north of Tampa, about ninety minutes drive or a little over Lake Buena Vista. The city has grown up in the late nineteenth century, when Greek settlers developed the industry sea sponge and 21 century, a visit provides a fascinating insight into the history and methods of industry. Walk along the main street and explore their unusual gifts available. Best of all, try one of the short trips to the sea, which will show you where the sponge and give you a chance to see dolphins and other marine life. Be prepared to experience jealousy when you see the waterfront homes.
Kennedy Space Center This is the other side of the Florida Atlantic coast, and you are almost to be from outer space that does not know the name of the lease. Bok Tower In complete contrast, if you want to find the ocean of peace and quiet in the middle of all the anger theme park, try to Bok Tower. It is a place of about 250 acres near Lake Wales, about thirty to forty five minutes from Lake Buena Vista. Founded in the late 1920's by Edward Bok, a distinguished American philanthropist, who wanted to create a garden for birds and people in Florida, because he was so enamored of the place he stayed in during the winter months. He bought the land (the highest point in Florida, to 295 meters above sea level) and created a sanctuary that has survived the tourist explosion. He built the Carillon Tower (to the tower with musical tones, if you're like me and do not know). Visit the Tower and listen to regular music recitals. Admire the beautiful architecture. Read the history of the place. I wander through the gardens to see the extensive flora and watch the wildlife. Just relax!
Busch Gardens Africa Ok, we returned to the theme parks, partly because some people are addicted to them, but also because Busch Gardens offers probably the greatest contrast in Disney World. And though it is older than Disney World (Busch Gardens, originally opened in 1959), it was regularly updated and enhanced since then. Despite the name, Busch Gardens Africa is close to Tampa Bay - about 75 minutes from Lake Buena Vista, with the I4 and I75. It covers 335 hectares and the theme is animals: they have more than 2700 of them with some water rides and roller coasters. Animal life includes alligators, crocodiles, monkeys and birds. That way you can combine a bit of fun with a lot of education about the different types. It is as exhausting and expensive as a Disney theme park to make sure that you have a lot of energy and money.
So you only have a few suggestions for - make sure you are fit before you arrive so you can get the most out of it
